We offer free shipping within the continental US AND Hawaii** and Puerto Rico** (** Surcharge for UPS)

 International buyers: Please contact us for your shipping cost if it does not automatically pull up. Please note that you may have customs or duty fees associated with your purchase.  ALL items must ship USPS Priority Mail, at a minimum, to meet our requirements for tracking and insurance.

 Additional shipping details:  Standard shipping method on the majority of our items is USPS Priority Mail.  You can expect delivery within the continental US in 2-3 business days.  Your order will normally ship day of or day after your payment has been received.  Occasionally there may be an item that ships UPS Ground as standard shipment if you are in the West Coast.  Delivery for UPS Ground can be expected within 5 business days.  Expedited shipment is available for an additional fee.  Please contact us for those details.

 Return policy:  All items, except for those noted 'final sale', are able to be returned for a refund.  If an item is a final sale, you will see it noted under the detailed descriptions tab.  To a return an item:  All that we ask is that you notify us of a return within 2 days of receipt. You will receive an RA# at that point in time.  Since we sometimes carry just one of an item, we would like to receive the item back within 7 days to allow our other customers the opportunity to purchase that item as quickly as possible.  You will receive a full refund for the merchandise, minus any shipping charges you may have paid for International shipping, insurance, or expedited delivery.  You only need to pay for the return shipping of your item.  Item must be returned in original condition (i.e. with all tags attached, all extra buttons or beads, not worn, any plastic covering on handbags, and in box, if applicable).  Item may be returned to customer with no refund given if return is not in original condition.

I am trying to use a coupon but experiencing difficulties.  Please help!  In order to use a Mountain Island Designs promotion or coupon code you must register on our site.  This is easy to do and at no charge. Please do not select 'check out as guest'. 

What time of day do you shipOur goal is to ship by next business day. If your order is received by 10:00 AM EST it will ship the same day.  There may be a few exceptions to this time frame.  You will be notified if your order is affected (i.e. holidays, when we are gone on buying trips for new merchandise,or vacations).  If your order is affected, we thank-you in advance for your understanding.

Where can I find my tracking number? You can locate your tracking number in two places.  One, you can find it by going to "Service" at the top of the page.  Enter your order confirmation number located on your confirmation email.  Hit "Go".  You will see your tracking number on the far right in the boxes.  Two, you will also be able to see in on your shipping confirmation email below the 'shipping address' section.  You can track your package at www.USPS.com
, unless you were notified that your package shipped differently.

What is the International shipment time frame
Unless otherwise noted, all items ship USPS Priority Mail. The US Postal System estimates delivery to be within 6-10 BUSINESS days (which is approx. 2 weeks from date of order).   This time frame is only to be used as a guideline. Items can take longer depending on your customs, your postal system, or our postal system. 

I am US buyer.  It has been 3 postal days.  Where is my item?  Your item should ship within 24 hrs.  If you do not have it by the 3rd business day, please notify us. We will email you the tracking number.  If sent insured, occasionally the USPS will leave a notice, although not all buyers get these notices. Should that happen, your item will be available for pick-up at your local post office for 15 days. You can also request re-delivery online after viewing your tracking information.  If you package is not picked up in 15 days, it will be returned to us.  Should that happen there will be a shipping charge to re-ship your package to your same or new address.

I am an International Buyer. It has been 2 weeks.  Where is my item? 
Your item should ship within 24 hrs .If you do not have it in 2-3 weeks, please notify us. We should be able to give you a tracking number in order to help locate your shipment.

Do you offer overnight delivery options? 
We do offer over-night delivery options. We are able to ship UPS Next day, Federal Express Overnight, or USPS Express Mail for an additional fee. Please contact us for the cost. You will receive a shipping credit towards the expedited shipping from the free US Shipping we offer.

Where do you ship from?  We are located in the Southeastern part of the US, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
